I’ve been busy at work and in my personal life and so I’ve not had time to make an update here, though I have kept my income and assets up to date. Today I passed another milestone. I’m earning $60 dollars a month in passive income starting from nothing. Quite the accomplishment. My methods have changed somewhat as I learned more, but beginning from doing simple surveys online, I’ve really grown my portfolio. And I’m very happy about it.
I didn’t see how I would reach $70 a month or $15,000 invested before the end of this year, but now it’s a real possibility. Perhaps I’ll aim even higher next year. Or perhaps I’ll hit my ultimate goal of $100 a month early. Then I’m not sure what I’ll do. Perhaps continue? Perhaps take a break? In any case, the journey continues, it’s just the boring middle now. I am confident I’ll hit my goal and then I’ll need to re-evaluate and set new goals.
I am so, so appreciative I’ve made it this far. When I started I really had my doubts, but I got lucky and the timing worked out. I still believe – at least for income – dividend investing may be the safest way to go (aside from a savings accounts while interest rates are high). Well, let’s say safest and steadiest. I’m attempting to learn other forms of trading, but this seems like an easy win for anyone willing to invest a small amount of time.
