The Leap Day
I did it. I eked out another grand for the month. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be making an extra grand a month outside of my regular job, but here I am. Now to reach that milestone with passive income – that’s the real dream. As I ponder this achievement

The First Milestone of the Year
Last week I passed one of the first goals or milestones I set for this year. $7,500 total invested. At just over a year into this project that is a significant amount for a side hustle. My portfolio has grown into something larger than what I’ve invested. As of this writing it’s just over $8,000.

The Upgrades
Another day, another dollar. I’m in what some in the financial independence community call the boring middle. My plan is working; I’m earning, I’m saving, I’m investing. I actually made more this month outside of my regular job than I’ve ever done before. Stock trading has done well for me and it’s something I did

The Portfolio Management
More and more this endeavor has become one of portfolio management rather than income. Don’t get me wrong – income is still wildly important, but the need to preserve capital grows as the portfolio grows. And because of that, I’m really feeling the need to pay attention to the assets I have in my portfolio.
