This was the first week since I began that I missed my $50 dollar a week goal for beer money income. I only missed it by about $2.50, though, so I will try to make up for it this week by earning a bit more. I was, of course, still able to purchase a stock this week. It was a holiday again so I had to wait until Tuesday.
As part of my income last week I earned a few dividends and they automatically reinvested in the stocks that paid them, so that was a nice bonus. It only took a few months and I’m really starting to see the dividends kick in. I’ve earned just over $11 dollars in dividends since I began. I know I have a ways to go to reach my goal, but I’m already at $8 dollars a month and in a couple weeks I’ll surpass $100 dollars a year. Not bad.
