If I’m being honest, I didn’t think I would make it this far. I made my first post on Beer Money Dividends on November 15th, 2022. I really, really wanted to create a passive income stream. As of today I earn over $25 dollars a month in passive income because of the investments I’ve made. I’m on track to more than double it next year. My forecasting suggests I’ll complete my goal of $100 dollars a month in passive income in just over three years.
Looking at the past year, I earned and invested over $4,500 dollars outside of my regular job. I have purchased over 195 shares of various stocks and funds. And I have evolved my strategy.
While I didn’t actually earn $10 dollars every day or purchase a stock every week (last week was the first time I neglected to make a purchase), if you look at the averages I more than exceeded my goals. And I learned a hell of a lot about investing.
Last week I took some time off from work to work even more. I considered using the side hustle money here, but I don’t feel like it aligns with my original vision for this particular project. Despite working outside of my regular job, it was more of a windfall and not easily repeatable.
As I said before I won’t be setting any more goals until next year, but I do expect to reach $1 dollar a day in passive income early in 2024.
