The Way I Earn $10 A Day

The Way I Earn $10 a Day

While I technically surpassed my goal again this week with a little over $80 dollars in beer money income, I barely eked it out at the last minute. I got very lucky with a high-paying survey on Friday. I didn’t quite make $10 a day. What I mean by that is on Sunday, for instance, I barely made $3 dollars. In fact, there were three days this week where I didn’t hit $10, so I really had to grind to hit my goals. I’m still only trying to hit between $50 to $70 a week as a goal and still only aiming to buy 1 share of a dividend paying stock a week, but it has been very motivating for me to surpass my goals these past few weeks. I think tracking it and writing about it helps too. But again, I don’t expect to be able to maintain this pace for an entire year.

I want to talk a bit about my process and how I am earning $10 a day. It could be more efficient, but I like to keep it simple and it works for me. I usually only go for surveys that pay at least 10 cents a minute, but often times more. I use a laptop and keep tabs open with Prolific, MTurk, Connect, and SerpClix. For Prolific I went ahead and filled out most of the demographic information under the “About You” section of the site. It is extensive and takes some time, but I do seem to get a decent amount of surveys because of it. For MTurk I use a browser extension called Mturk Suite to find and track surveys. r/mturk was a great resource when I was starting out and still is. r/beermoney is a great resource too with a supportive community.

That’s really it for me. The busiest time seems to be between 10 AM and 12 PM EST, but there’s usually surveys throughout the day with a couple lulls between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some days I hit my goal quickly and early in the morning, but other times I have to check periodically during my free time or after dinner. And as I mentioned above there are some days I just can’t hit $10 dollars a day for whatever reason and really have to grind more on days when the surveys are readily available.

I also want to mention that I can’t recommend applications like Honeygain anymore. While I used them in the past and will likely cash out what little I have with them soon, various services will rate your IP address poorly because of it. Your IP is like your personal identification number for your internet connection from your modem and a bad rating can affect other opportunities, like SerpClix. I don’t know that it’s really worth it. I was also trying out an application called LoadTeam, but it was just too hard on my computer and not worth the reward.

I’m always on the lookout for other opportunities because they tend to come and go or change over time, but Prolific and MTurk have been pretty solid for me.
